Who are we?
OXBURGH ACADEMY is a private institution started by a group of passionate, dedicated and experienced educators, offering Cambridge IGCSE international programme.

Our teaching is tailored to accommodate individual learning approaches. We encourage creativity and independent thinking towards academic excellence via our “Lessons beyond classroom” philosophy.

What is IGCSE?
IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is an internationally recognized qualification developed by University of Cambridge, UK.

The British curriculum is catered for secondary school student of age 12-18 years old. The teaching and learning methodologies promotes independent and self-directed learning, emphasizing on fulfilling each student’s truest potential.

Where does IGCSE lead you to?
IGCSE is accepted worldwide as an entry requirement to pre-university programme such as A-Level, South Australian Matriculation (SAM), International Baccalaureate (IB), Canadian Pre-university Programme (CPU), American Degree transfer Programme (ADP) and etc.

Upon completion of IGCSE, students can opt for one of the pre-university programmes in colleges or universities in Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and United States.

What makes Oxburgh's IGCSE programme stand up among the others?
We offer the fast tract IGCSE programme. The flexibility enables students to complete the secondary curriculum in minimum of 1.5 years to a maximum of 4.5 years.

Oxburgh Academy is also equipped with well equipped laboratory. Students have opportunities to gain hands-on experience in conducting experiments frequently. We also have a library with great titles which our students read in the school or check out for reading at home.
